FAQs
-
Reiki is a gentle, energy-based healing practice that promotes balance, relaxation, and emotional well-being.
It works by channeling universal life force energy through the hands to help clear energetic blocks, release what no longer serves you, and restore harmony in the body, mind, and spirit.
Reiki supports the body’s natural healing abilities and can be deeply calming — helping reduce stress, improve clarity, and reconnect you with your inner wisdom. It’s safe for all ages and can be received in person or remotely.
-
Reiki flows through the practitioner’s hands into the recipient’s energy field, directing healing where it’s needed most. It’s not “giving” energy, but rather allowing divine life force to move through and support the body’s natural capacity to heal. Many people feel sensations like warmth, tingling, or deep peace. Even if you don’t feel anything physically, shifts can still occur energetically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Each session is unique. You’ll be invited to relax, either lying down or seated, fully clothed. Gentle music may play as the practitioner works intuitively with your energy — often incorporating techniques like aura clearing, cord cutting, grounding, and intuitive messages. You may feel emotions rise, experience deep rest, or receive insight. Afterward, people often describe feeling lighter, more centered, and connected to themselves.

Reiki is for everyone — adults, children, animals, and anyone in need of emotional, physical, or energetic support. Whether you’re healing from trauma, navigating change, craving balance, or simply seeking calm, Reiki meets you where you are. It’s a beautiful complement to other wellness and medical practices, and especially helpful for empaths, sensitive souls, and those on a healing or spiritual journey.
-
Yes — Reiki can be a powerful support for those navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, or emotional wounds. While it’s not a replacement for therapy or medical care, Reiki works on the energetic and spiritual levels to create a sense of safety, release stuck emotions, and regulate the nervous system.
It gently helps the body let go of what it’s been holding — without needing to relive or explain the experience. For many, it feels like a soft place to land.. a space to reconnect with their body, reclaim their voice, and begin to feel whole again.
-
Reiki is spiritual, but not religious. It’s rooted in the belief that we are all connected to a universal life force energy — the same energy that flows through all living things. Reiki does not require any specific belief system, and it’s practiced by people from all backgrounds and faiths.
You are always in control of your experience, and Reiki simply meets you where you are — supporting your own connection to self, source, and healing.

There’s no one-size-fits all answer. Some people come weekly or monthly, others during times of transition, stress, or healing. Trust your body and intuition — they’ll often guide you.
If you’re working through trauma, illness, or big emotional shifts, more frequent sessions may help deepen the process. Even one session can create powerful shifts, but like anything in life, healing is a journey, not a race.
